When you buy a digital print from us, you are buying a licence to use the image file for personal purposes — you are not buying the copyright. This licence sets out what that permits. Copyright and all other intellectual property rights in every artwork remain with us or the artist at all times.

What your licence allows

Subject to payment in full, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, perpetual licence to:

  • print the file for your own personal, non-commercial use — for example to display in your home or to give as a personal gift; and
  • make a reasonable number of personal backup copies of the file.

What your licence does not allow

You may not:

  • resell, sublicense, redistribute, share, or give away the file itself;
  • use the artwork for any commercial purpose, including advertising, merchandise, packaging, or resale as prints, without a separate written commercial licence from us;
  • claim authorship of the artwork, or remove or alter any credit, watermark, or metadata;
  • upload the file to any stock library, print-on-demand service, NFT platform, or public repository; or
  • use the artwork to train machine-learning or generative AI systems.

Commercial use

If you need to use an image commercially, contact us using the details at the top of this page to discuss a commercial licence.

Breach

This licence ends automatically if you breach it, and you must then stop using and delete the file. Ending the licence does not entitle you to a refund where the breach is yours.
